Help when the show is waiting.

Start with the checks below. Never test experimental control for the first time during a live show.

Connection checklist

  1. Confirm the iPhone or iPad and processor are on the same trusted local network.
  2. Connect to the host or master unit in a multiunit system.
  3. Confirm Toolset 9 and JSON-RPC TCP port 9999.
  4. Allow Local Network access in iOS Settings if prompted.
  5. Verify the processor IP address and network isolation rules.

Live commands are disabled

Live writes require Pro Lifetime, Experimental Live Control, a Director or Stage profile, Toolset 9, a recognized frame, a known capability, and the host/master node. Program actions additionally require the 30-second arm window and a 1.2-second hold.

Safe recovery

After a disconnect, EventCue never automatically repeats Take, Cut, recall, cue, or content-change commands. Check the physical console, reconnect, refresh state, and re-arm only after confirming the current Program output.

Contact

Email support@aronscolaro.com with the app version, iOS version, frame model, Toolset version, whether the node is host/master, and exported redacted logs. Never send processor passwords or Apple credentials.
